Feast - week 3
This week we cooked something sweet! We made banana and white choc chip pikelets, served with whipped cream! This recipe was definitely a favourite for all, but some students ate a little too much and didn't feel great afterwards.
We also had many learning experiences today. Many of the pikelets were burnt as students had their heat too high. Some were not cooked all the way through and were gooey on the inside as students didn't let them cook long enough. All groups mastered them in the end and they were delicious!
FOOD WASTE TIP: Cook and freeze. These are great defrosted. They can also be a great lunch box snack! Add any fruit or other toppings to your pikelets.
